Never had any problems pre-ordering games, you get you're name on their lists' and also a fairly good discount at that.

That's how it should work, it's all about the *lists' - you have to ask for the *lists', if you're names not on it you buy the game at full price.

You're wrong about that MorganX, they're open top'd racecars - like formula fords and the like... they actually drift and oversteer a lot.

They also said the software used for the damage-mode on this game is far better, guess well have to wait and see... think the physics would kinda behave like the Colin McRae: Dirt series which is not bad at all.

The one thing I don't like though is the price that they are charging us over here in Australia - ***AU$120 = *US$111.30 ( f...

Still very cartoony...especially with the face, there something wrong about it, can't tell if it's the ( eyes and lips ) that are too large enough for the head or maybe the head is not proportined with the body as well.

As for the actual game itself, think it has'nt moved on... really needs a new direction which is why it's not doing very well with the sales and all.

I got Thrill Kill and still playing it from time to time on my PS1.

Love those sickly weird characters in the game, but yeah definitely not for kids.

Not unless broadband connection services - around areas that they cover...get really really fast, it'll take some more years for this to happen.

Not much of a concern to most but sometimes the peak-time traffic ( lags - sometimes your provider will be updating their services/and or there are a lot of users' at the moment... ) on the internet will be the major problem when you want to download games with such a large amount of data to transfer thru your hard drives.

Wow! Turning an already good audio frequency even better, totally awesome!

When people pass by and see this game being played on the stores they just stop and stare in amazement.

You'ed see their look of total awe from just the graphics alone. And that's why a lot of them are being sold.

Might have to ask for my cousin over in Japan to send me this game here in Australia.

Have only downloaded free demo on Japanese PS3 Store and really is quite good to play, totally decievingly difficult.

Great comment there.

Truly the worst, in real as in virtual.

Oh it will, sure it will my friend.

Virtual revhead heaven.

*And check-out GT-TV, has already a few video previews on how the central command interface on Nissan's GTR35 was put to task by Kazunori Yamauchi-san's group.
And there's also a complete GTR35 Nurburgring test, plus a feature on Mitsubishi EVO X.

Nissan GTR35 is the ultimate expression of how a Japanese supercar should be in the 21st century - which is accessible performance.

For me Subaru's 22B STI's my ultimate fave Japanese cult car, and for all time - has to be the Audi Quattro and the timeless Porsche 928.
Hope these cars make it onto the Full Version GranTurismo 5.

That'll be a great addition if Sony/Polyphony could add a *cult-car favorite section in the game, with fans' emailing which cars to put...

They delivered a game not up to a lot of driving/racing fans' expectations... simply not good enough.

In a way you can also say it could be bad timing/judgement going head to head with other racing genres like PGR4 and the new GranTurismo Prologue which are the ones fans' are anticipating.

Also damage-mode and weather physics would definitely fix a few niggling problems in the penalty system during on-line races.

Very much well anticipated both this awesome features, and will make the game even more exhilirating to play.

Good on Sony Polyphony/Kaz-san for finally adding them on the game.

Me'thinks it's a kind of up-skirt sort of game... You Nintendo perverts.

6552d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Far from it... it's just that every now and they would eventually have down-times.

Now it's the PS3's turn to shine with GranTurismo 5: Prologue and other new titles..., return of DualShock3, PS3's Driving Force steering wheel.

Next time it'll be Xbox360's again with Gears of War2, Halo Wars etc...

Not entirely just yet.

*Gripes:

>> L2/R2 trigger slippage - have to buy aftermarket add-on just to fix this problem...

>> Ergonomically unfriendly with "adult" size hands - buttons, sticks all bunched-up. Seems Sony needs to build another one to accomodate us average adults with a bigger sized DualShock3.

6554d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Definitely not true at all.

Pure rumours, downtimes are to be expected sometimes - Especially now that Sony is really picking-up with their games ( GranTurismo 5: Prologue - which is just one of their monster titles... ) and other web features.

And then things will change and go back up the ladder once games like Gears of War 2, Halo Wars and the likes start to appear on shelves.

Got mine way before for the equivalent of US$45 from Japan - shipping and handling included, vibration or "rumble" is such a welcome relief.

Still a few issues though that needs to be remedied by Sony - that is the L2/R2 trigger slippage and most definitely the relatively small "only for kids" size of the control pads, which bunches up all the button and sticks all too close.

Which I believe are valid comments.

Wow that's cool, might actually try this one out myself.

We'll have to wait and see how Kaz-san would handle damage-mode discrepancies on GranTurismo 5: Prologue ( downloadable soon ) and the Full Version GranTurismo 5.

It really is a big plus to have damage-mode, especially when playing on-line with a few jumpy competitors and some penalty boguses which kind of makes you're racing on-line a little bit frustrating...

And love the news that weather effects would also be included for the Full Version GranTurismo 5 as confirmed b...
